Saturday was primarily a travel day. We started out for the Clava Cairns, a Bronze Age cemetery. It was beautiful and eerie. One of the vertical stones there was the model for the split-stone portal in Outlander.
Moving on, Cody drove us a good chunk of the way toward Edinburgh, but he finally pooped out, leaving the driving at that point to Vicki.
A nap was in order.
Once in Edinburgh, we dropped Autumn at the train station so she could go see a friend in Glasgow. Cody, Vicki, and I unloaded, then Cody and I headed off to the Scotch Whisky Experience. We got the grand tour, saw the world’s largest collection of single malts, and got to taste scotch from the five regions of Scotland. I had enjoyed scotch from every region but one - Campbeltown, which I enjoyed. We had a nice chat with an English fellow across the tasting table, and we discussed bourbon as well as scotch. He had never had bourbon except in a mixed drink, i.e. with coke. Cody and I think we may need to travel with some airline bottles of good bourbon to hand out at such times.
Cody and I met Vicki for dinner after the tasting - another heavy English meal for Cody and me. We returned to our lodging and crashed.

Thanks very much for sharing with us. Yours is a great journey with fine pictures. ♥️❤️
